Would love to say I am all excited about everything that is going on but I knew I was in trouble when I was shoved into a Tupperware bowl not much larger than my own shell, covered with saran wrap, and carried at light speed to this place.
The humans call it school. When I arrived the largest human here put me in a moistened jar, which made me a bit happier, but I still would rather be enjoying the delicacies of the garden. I overheard them talking about how to care for me, what to feed me, and if they could…paint my SHELL. I am dreading this, I just keep telling myself, “easy does it, one day at a time…”
So far I have survived and all the children returned from their lunch with cucumbers and lettuce, my favorites!
